Clearing Your Party Poker Bonus

The 100% bonus up to $500 already is a good deal as such - but also clearing it is a very fair and most of all simple matter. The minimum amount of your first deposit is set at $25. Once you deposit you will have 90 days to clear the bonus - however it is not a lump sum but an incremental bonus. Unless most of the other poker rooms that offer a step by step solution however you will not clear a previously determined $5 or $10 partial bonus each time. The amount will depend on the total amount of your bonus and will be set at 20% of your overall bonus. So if you decide to take advantage of the maximum $500 bonus you will have to clear it in steps of $100. If however you want to deposit $100 thus have a $100 bonus overall you will clear it in steps of $20.

Clearing the bonus at Party Poker is somewhat different from most other poker rooms as the system behind it is a bit harder to understand at the beginning. While we can give you numbers of points earned per rake in a cash game in the other rooms, Party Poker approaches the whole thing differently. You will always earn 10 points in cash games after having played a certain amount of raked hands at a certain limit. For example you will be rewarded with 10 points for playing 25 raked hands at $1/$2 NL Texas Hold'em - no matter how much rake was created per hand. It may seem awkward to poker players at first as we all are used to the typical "points per $ of rake" scheme used in most other rooms. But in the end it proves to be a fair deal that simplifies things once you get to grips with it. You don't have to think about how much rake you generated for the poker room at any given hand, you simply look up how many raked hands you will have to play at a certain limit in order to earn the points.

Some examples to get a feeling for their system: for a $0.10/$0.25 cash game the amount of raked hands needed to clear 10 PartyPoints would be 100, for a $5/$10 it would be 13 raked hands for 10 PartyPoints. Once you get the hang of the system you will realise that it is a fair deal by all means. Of course you will also receive PartyPoints for tournament fees.
